Over a year in the making, our second production run of these beauties consisted of both "Camel" door and "Economy door versions. ( Yes, we actually tooled two different versions ! ! ! )

Below are a couple of close-up views that were a true test of my camera. ( And its operator, ahem... ) If you are into detail, like the ad says, you're going to like what you see ! We guarantee it !

The level of detail to be seen on these models was simply staggering. Click any of the photos on this page for an enlarged view or two.

Each of these models was a faithful reproduction of its prototype, in miniature. They were equipped with GENUINE KADEE@reg Couplers, and COINED, NICKEL PLATED BRASS Wheelsets.

Of course, we would like to see these models populating all of our customers layouts. But keep in mind that these are SCALE MODELS, not children's toys. As delivered, they are designed to be operated on 27" and larger radius curves. For operation on tighter radius curves, much of that beautiful brake rigging will likely have to be removed... Pity......

We produced "around" 100 of each of these models... The ones pictured here have long since been SOLD OUT ...

However, for those of you who've been hoping for a re-run we've some GREAT NEWS to relate !

If all goes well, our long-time friend and builder, K.K. has told us that 2016 should prove to be a GOOD YEAR for us! The Box Cars should be here some time this summer, plus we may be getting the LONG CABEESE this year as well !

This new production run will feature a totally NEW SET OF CAR NUMBERS, plus one of the SILVERTON TRAIN Boxcars, #3468 ( Orange & Silver ) and TWO M.O.W. "SUPPLY CARS" in Gray , car number #03057, an Economy Door car, and #03131, a Camel Door car... (Both in the 1941 repainting scheme...)

We're not requiring any advance reservation money on these, but bear in mind that we are expecting them to be delivered some time this summer... Maybe earlier... So it might be a course of wisdom on your part to consider RESERVING some of these beauties if your roster is a little shy on them now... We only ordered 40 of each number, so time will tell how long they last...

As before, thay'll be priced commensurate with their quality, and as before. if you value your modeling time as being worth ANYTHING AT ALL, they'll be an out-and out bargain !
