Here's a photo of the "OQ" with its cover removed. A mechanical marvel of its time, no doubt.

In spite of all the winches and stuff in evidence here, these things were surprisngly quiet in operation. No raucus, rattling diesel engine sounds. Just a faint chuffing when called upon for action.

As you can see, Jimmy Booth waved his magic airbrush over this beauty. Put her cab on her and the weathering brings out those details that would otherwise be hidden in the darkness.
