- D&RGW "T-12" #174 circa the 1920's - 1930's -

Here's another close-up of our "T-12" number 174 in the common black livery. This time as viewed from her tender's end. If you look closely, you' ll see her tender's sporting a "buffer plate" above that coupler. Its purpose was to help prevent her train from crashing into her on downgrades. As is P-B-L's usual bent, the attention to detail on this model is outstanding.
A truly classy model of a truly classy prototype, and she RUNS as good as she LOOKS !
