Although the Erection Drawings, Parts List and Silhouettes and some of the
preliminary stuff are...
Assembling the model isn't complicated IF you know the
correct sequences.. But putting the sequences in an understandable form, (in
writing..), is a whole
'nother game.. Sure, putting together a series of videos was even more
intimidating, especially all of the
illustrations, but once we came up with the best ever /
why-didn't-we-think-of-this-sooner sequences of
fitting all of the underbody parts in their proper places, a series of
sequences
that actually work,
and that you can watch
and pause
on your big screen TV (if you like)? Well, in our opinion they are pretty
amazing!
And the assembly sequences we've outlined in these videos just plain make
good sense too!
And as far as this "page" is concerned, the illustrations
still
stand.. In fact, the most of the concepts, at least, apply to the
constuction of any model...
ASSEMBLY HINTS
Although centered specifically around the assembly of PBL's model of the #0400
Caboose, the principles behind these animations below are pretty-much
applicable to just about any injection molded plastic model kit...
